QuantumBasel, the Center of Competence for Quantum and Artificial Intelligence, is the first commercially usable quantum centre in Switzerland. QuantumBasel offers companies, start-ups and research institutes access to quantum computing and high-performance computing, laying the foundations for jointly tackling future challenges in the fields of life sciences, industrial manufacturing and logistics with the help of machine learning and artificial intelligence.

The uptownBasel Event Hub is the unique event location for every occasion. With around 1,650 m² of space, the Event Hub can adapt to what your event needs. It has no pillars, so it can be set up in multiple ways to accommodate your AGM, staff party, award show or evening gala. The premises with its industrial flair, including hall, foyer and gallery, provide the ideal setting at all times.

The seminar rooms in the «Pioneer» offer the ideal place for events with up to 100 people. The flexible room design allows for a variety of setups, from working groups to workshops. Please contact us for inquiries at seminar@uptownbasel.ch.

The Streetfood Company is the hospitality partner of uptownBasel and organises various events throughout the site. As a professional catering and event company, we support our customers in the planning of every event. Our team will accompany you with the highest level of professionalism all the way from the idea to the realisation.

Breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks – straight to the office from Swiss family-owned businesses. FELFEL is the most popular employee catering service in Switzerland and (along with over 600 other companies) now also provides all employees at the uptownBasel site with fresh and varied meals every day. In the car park of uptownBasel’s first building, the «Pioneer», there are charging stations for our companies’ electric cars. Fast-charging stations are also available outside. Tenants of uptownBasel have the option of conveniently charging their vehicles via the «my uptownBasel» site app. Electric Hondas are also available to our companies as shared vehicles.
